gank - I think he's probably trying to inspire a retarded poster from Kent like yourself, to attempt this feat at home, and do the world a massive, MASSIVE favour.

I've done some research on this, and the bloke is a redneck. This has absolutely FUCK ALL to do with West Ham. Why on Earth have you posted it on here??

Why did he feel the need to wear a helmet, not as if its was going to help him?

Shin Chan, maybe they should scrap football, sell all the stadiums and give all the money to charity.

"This video has been removed by the user.
Sorry about that."

A bit anti-climatic, in my opinion.

Would have liked to see him bounce of the net and go back up again in a Roadrunner Will E Coyote ACME Bouncy Nets type way.

It wouldn't have cost that much. At most, enough to feed a tiny % of the world's poor just one small meal. Instead of that easily forgotten snack, we now have this, something to fire the imagination for generations.

Some money has to be spent on spectacles, or life would be shit. Without people with money to burn, there would be no show business.

This blew me away. Great show.

All it needed was a strong gust of wind at the right time....

Seriously. Americans are a really gruesome bunch. They turn out to watch this and other similar events with the thought in mind that they will see a man die....

How long before we get back to gladiators?

what a fucking tool! Just think of how much that cost and he could have done more for the planet by giving it to charity. Cunt flap

OK OK I shouldnt really be telling you this as I could be in trouble with the ''Inner Circle'' - there's not 25,000 ft of it, as that would be ridiculous. It's only long enough to reach the net

I used to be in the Magic Circle...

There's always a safety wire - they just tell you there isn't one. It's made of really thin strong transparent nylon.

I remembered the story from the "Victor" but I knew nothing of his post war 'career'.

I think, if I found out I was working with him, I'd get a job somewhere (anywhere) else.
Was his middle name Job?

There's something truely uplifting about this. Its definitely do or die but get it right and you're a super hero.
Insanity or pure brilliance. Either way its one of my favourite stories this year.

S'nuffin

Some bloke did that from the arse end of a Lancaster during WWII.

What I dont get is - at what point does this seem to be a good idea?
